The slips are mostly seasonal so transient space is rarely available. Dockmaster is accommodating and helpful. Fixed docks in great shape with excellent power. Always a nice place to visit whether at the dock, mooring or anchored.

Crew in harbor master's office is pleasant and responsive. Yellow town moorings are well maintained. Huge mooring field, so book early and request one near town. Oldport Launch services the harbor.

Pricey but it's the Cape in summer. Floating docks are old. Tugboats food is good. Active harbor with Nantucket ferry terminals and pleasure boat fleets.

Half Moon Bay is an extremely well run marina. Steve, the dock master, is a wonderful, welcoming host and a font of useful information about the area. He does everything in his power to make one's visit a good experience. The marina is well protected by a wave wall. Power is good. Highly recommended.

The museum has not made a commitment to transient dockage. Docks are weathered but good power. Wifi is weak. The Maritime and Trolley Museums are well worth a visit. Easy walk to town. Round Out Creek provides good protection.

Shady Harbor is exposed to the river, but most commercial and recreational traffic slows to idle so minimal wakes. Docks are relatively new, in good shape with good power. Dock hands are knowledgeable and friendly. Nice restaurant on property and office has marine supplies and some grocery items.

Shadows would get a 5 star if not for its exposure to wakes and the river's current. The docks are new and Keith the dock master knows his marina and is a good at guiding you in and out when the current is running. Shadows restaurant at the top of the dock is first rate.

It's a nice marina with competent staff. Easy in and out. That's the good. We were there on rainy Sunday afternoon/night, so the outside facilities of restaurant were essentially closed. If the weather had been nice, we understand this is a "happening" place. If that's your thing great. If not, forewarned.

Beaufort is a nice place to visit. Dock staff competent, helpful and friendly. Be aware and plan for the strong currents. Passing smaller boats don't slow, so face dock can be a bit bouncy, particularly when the wind is up.

Was fortunate enough to catch a good tide and stay overnight. Dockmaster couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! Reasonable fuel price. Will stay again if the ICW gets dredged or the tides coordinate with our overnight schedule.
