We often stop here on our way by to reprovision. It's a solid mile or more's walk to the Piggly Wiggly, but when you need grub, you need grub, and we enjoy the leg stretch. This is not an overnight spot, but we usually duck in and dock here, grab some groceries and maybe a bite to eat on Front Street, then fuel at the drystack which usually has a great price on diesel, and move along to an anchorage either up river (Pee Dee or Waccamaw) or down off the cut on Minim or Duck Creek. We stayed on the hook here in the harbor once, and did not enjoy it.

Free day dock. We did this as a long lunch stop and this little town is adorable with waterfront bars along a boardwalk.
