These docks have been torn down with no place to tie up. This used to be a really cool spot. I haven't seen any recent construction to replace them. Not sure what the city plans are.

On 2/28/2021... there are currently NO places to dock at this “Free Dock,” it looks like they have been removed. Continue southbound to High Street Landing free dock.

Discussion with the City of Portsmouth engineer in charge of overseeing the construction in the North Harbor Landing revealed that this basin remains closed as construction continues and will for several more months. We'll be by there in another couple days for a look-see. I didn't ask, but last time we were by there it appears to be part of the continuing improvements of the entire seawall along the river in that area.

There is more space here than is being presented in the blogs. The far NW corner has space, but it is not easy to maneuver into the dock. But it is free and protected - also a prime location.

As of 7/2018 most of this basin's free dockage has been damaged and is unavailable for use except for the small area behind the covered stage.
