Boothbay (pronounced "BOOTH-bay") Harbor is a summer resort with natural beauty, an easy entrance and many shore attractions. There's also ample yachting amenities on all but the busiest of holiday weekends when the harbor can be crowded both on the water and ashore. 

This easily approached and scenic bay has a well-documented maritime history dating from the 15th century. During the summer, sloops and a host of other classic hulls and rigs add interest to a harbor already bursting with boating color. Although the center of activity is Boothbay Harbor, all the significant islands protecting this classic bay are populated during the summer months.
