This has got to be one of the nicer Marinas in the area. The staff is very friendly and the Marina is so clean. Lots of showers and washer/dryers.

This is a great location. It's close to the Jekyll Island Marina. We got gas there and they gave us the wifi password. However it didn't reach to pur boat but maybe to the boats a little closer in. I walked into town to the Jekyll Market to restock and it was a mile walk from the marina.

We spoke with some locals today at Jekyll Island and they said that the Coast Guard removed the bouys because they don't want people using this inlet because of shoals. I haven't verified this but we didn't see the light house shining last night. It could be true.
Waterway Guide will research.

We stayed here to watch the NASA Delta IV lauch. It was a fantastic location. It was proptected except for those that did not slow down in the slow wake area. It was agreat place to watch sunsets and there are several fast food restauarnts, convenience stores and a Sav-A-Lot grocery store to the left of the marinas within walking distance. There are also beautiful parks along the way. Wifi was not strong but cell service was good so we were able to use data.

We decided to anchor here to catch the Melbourne St. Patrick's Day festivities. The anchorage has good holding but each time a boat went under the Melbourne Brige, the wake was felt even though we were pretty far away from the channel. A short dinghy ride to the Melbourne boat ramp that also has a nice tie up area. Main street is one block up and to the right. Great restaurants and pubs. Small food marts but no grocery stores within walking distance. It was very quiet but there are many traps around the area so we had to maneuver through them. No wifi but cell service was fine for us to use the hotspot.
