At normal pool nobody would even think about going into this anchorage. It is an obvious trap to be avoided. At higher water levels it looks better and might be an enticement to some. There are people who have successfully anchored here but there are many stories about near disasters. Even in a small shallow draft vessel, it is best to avoid this place.
