Super stop when heading up or down the James River. Well protected with concrete barriers to prevent rock and roll from wind and wakes. Very clean bathrooms and FREE laundry. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Did not give 5 stars as there are no supermarkets or great restaurants within walking distance.

Great marina, friendly staff, safe, reasonably priced within walking distance to restaurant and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

Docked at Leeward Marina Nov thru Dec 2018. Marina is well maintained, clean and safe. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Nearby ramp. Good place to stage for an excursion up the James River.

When we couldn't get into the marina we planned on the Leeward crew made us feel right at home. The marina is convenient to shopping, has floating docks, very reasonably priced, large fairways and the restrooms are clean. The best thing about the marina is the friendly staff. I would have given it 5 stars but there isn't any wi-fi at this marina.
