Very nice folks but the place needs a major refit. They are slowly making improvements but not nearly as much as advertising would leave you to believe. Mostly delapidated old boats with live-a-boards that haven't left a dock in years. Did not feel safe. If they don't repair the dock house soon it will collapse into the river.

Don't go in the summer!!! You may experience a Fuzzy Bill swarm that will cover your vessel with tens of thousands of flys and green slime. What an unbelievable mess. Holding is weak in very soft mud and very exposed from all sides except west. Very scenic.

A great stop between Tidewater and points south. The other marinas next door have all closed so this is your only option..... But it's a good one. Nice, clean, great food and people.

Great location; however, the pump station has not worked for two years. They are not taking care of the marina as they should.

Great place for the day with shops and a ton of American history just steps away. The York
River outgoing current at ebb tide is wicked fast and strong so watch out. Not protected from the East.

Nice, small, quiet, secluded and very well protected marina. No frills. no food or shopping. They have a repair yard and travel lift. The channel is in a different location than what your chart will tell you. Stay in the marks and ignore your gps.

Very nice marina and location. If your draft is more than 4' watch out coming in at low tide. You may run aground. Very narrow channel.

Great marina to stop in and walk into town to enjoy a old small town trying to reinvent itself as an artist colony. Fantastic public beach and great restaurants and ice cream shops. NOT well protected from the West.
