Crocodile Lake South
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 16.718' / W 080° 21.502'
- Description:
The approach seemed to have more than 8 feet from the west/east/south and at 400 feet south of the mangroves we had 6 foot of water at low tide. Great wind protection from the north and decent protection from the northeast and east . Holding was great with a mix of mud and seagrass. Beautiful scenic spot with lots of wildlife and no boat traffic tonight we stayed. If you get close enough to the mangroves, you will not see the bridge and will feel very quiet and isolated there.
DISCLAIMER: The laws and regulations governing anchoring in Florida waters are complex and everchanging. If you plan to anchor, whether overnight or for an extended period, you should confirm whether you are in compliance with local and state requirements before committing to a location. Two sources of information that may be helpful are the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Florida State Statutes.
