Cumberland Island

  • Depth: 15-22 Feet
  • Description:

    Head east near Mile 711 in the vicinity of flashing red 34 and then proceed north along the shore of Cumberland Island, following the eastern branch of Cumberland Sound, about 1.25 miles to the Sea Camp Dock and Visitor Center. Anchor near the docks, avoiding the shoal that makes out to the south of the marsh island off Greyfield.

    NOTE: PER GA HB 833 DO NOT ANCHOR WITHIN 150 FEET OF A MARINE STRUCTURE SUCH AS A PRIVATE DOCK OR 300 FEET OF A MARINA, OR WITHIN 500 FEET OF APPROVED COMMERCIAL SHELLFISH GROWING AREAS.
