Quiet, well protected anchorage. Picturesque surroundings with scattered houses. Narrow channel leads into spacious area between seven to twelve feet deep that can accommodate quite a few boats. Menchville Marina is the public one which looks to be in need to of some tlc. Deep Creek Landing Marina is nice and clean with reasonable fuel prices and friendly service. Costco is a scooter ride there and Uber back for us being only 3.5 miles away. Other shopping also available within 4 miles.
