• Description:

  There are a few locals that use this anchorage. Anchor in 10-15 feet in mud. Holding seems good, but there has been one boat drag here most likely to poor ground tackle or not enough scope. Exposed to SE and N winds.There can be some wake here, but a 6-mph speed limit helps. Shore access is okay (small beach near marina) and there is a great restaurant (Yellow Fin) within walking distance. Giant Foods (grocery) is about 1.2 miles away. Be mindful of noise as it is adjacent to a neighborhood.
