  The designated Special Anchorage shown on charts is filled with mooring balls and restricts the channel to the Lake Charlevoix, making it necessary to anchor near the south shore. There is a dinghy dock downtown, at the north end of the floating docks to accommodate those on the hook or at the Lake Charlevoix marinas.
