White Cay
- Location: Berry Islands
- Lat / Lon: N 25° 36.810' / W 077° 44.000'
- Depth: 12-18 Feet
- Description:
For vessels that were unable to negotiate the inside route along Hoffman Cay, the ocean entry between White Cay and Devils Cay is the next opportunity to regain the protection of the inside route.
The cut is nearly 0.25 nm wide and well over 20' deep, but it is important to make a sharp turn to starboard once the rocks at the south end of White Cay are abeam. Under no circumstances should vessels attempt to cross the rocky bar in the narrow gap between Saddleback Cay and Devils Cay.
DISCLAIMER: Before committing to an anchorage, you should confirm that the location is not governed by a regulation that may conflict with your plans. An increasing number of states and municipalities are enacting laws that define where and how long you may anchor.
