• Description:

  The anchorage gets its name from the large home with a crenellated turret on the south side. It was formerly the Abaco residence of the famous cartoonist Gary Larson, renowned for his syndicated The Far Side comic panels. The Scary Air reference is derived from the Far Side stylized script bearing the words Scary Air on the doors of Larson’s seaplane hanger.  

  It goes without saying that the area is private, but the point upon which the house is built in conjunction with neighboring Tavern Cay provides reasonable protection in east through south-southeast conditions with excellent holding in deep sand.
