West of Hole in the Wall, on the west side of Great Abaco Island, is the Bight of Abaco. This expanse of shifting mud flats and mangrove shallows is somewhat reminiscent of Florida Bay and the Everglades of South Florida. The bonefishing is sublime and you will be completely off the grid here, but the cruising is shallow and there are no good anchorages.
