I purchased a older J29 from New England 10 years ago. Blisters below the waterline existed. Hired Anchors Away to strip the gel coat, heat/vacuum dry the hull and apply Interlux products to reseal, refinish to produce a hard fast surface. Great workmanship, communication through the process. Bottom is still in great shape today applying yearly cleaning & resurfacing. Thanks

The employees were excellent to deal with; top notch customer service from the boys down at the dock. The lift operator took great care to properly hoist my boat out of the water and did an excellent cleaning of the bottom. Can't beat the free haul and splash with a months storage. The paint department is top notch. Lack of amenities is a bummer if you plan to stay there long term but not a total deterrent. Staff takes great care to ensure you're satisfied with your experience. However the manager was less than a pleasure to deal with and his attitude was enough to deter me from using this boat yard on another occasion. It seems like he could take a few classes in customer service himself from his own employees as they ultimately looked after my best interest before the yard manager did. Excellent job with the bottom paint and mechanical repairs. 5 stars on the work 1 star on the man running the shows poor people skills. Save your money and use the Hampstead boat yard up the hill where you'll get the same quality work for half the price with better management or Marine Max where you won't get treated like garbage by the manager that knows how to run a business appropriately.
