We stopped here on our way down the ICW for an overnight and after speaking with the marina and Jeff at Boater's Edge, we decided to haul out to fix a thru hull, do an oil change, etc.. Melissa, Chase and the yard crew were exceptional and took care of our boat as we would. Jeff and team were able to get the repairs done quickly and we were back in the water within days! Would highly recommend Westland!

I had a leaking through hull that needed repair before I left the boat for two months while I went north for the holidays. Hurricane Nicole paid a visit on the day I was due to be hauled. The yard manager called me and she offered to bring the yard crew in later on their day off so I could have peace of mind while in New York.

The boat was hauled and Boater's Edge did the repair - all the work was outstanding, no leaks anymore. The yard and Boater's Edge really have their act together!

I'm commenting on the haulout and repair services, not the marina dockage. I've used their haulout service twice in the past two years and both times my boat has been treated carefully and their travellift has performed flawlessly. Boater's Edge, a marine repair service located in the marina, has worked on my boat several times over the past five years. Jeff Belford runs the shop and he hires good mechanics, always reliable. I've had a rear oil seal replaced, a seacock replaced, and a new Lewmar hatch installed. All work was very professional, greatly appreciated, and at a reasonable price. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Yard manager Chase, and the yard crew at Westland really made my month long refit period on the hard very easy. Very safe and professional lifts, well maintained equipment, and reasonable price combine to make Westland a good place to get your work done. The only drawback I experienced was the lack of 30 or 50 amp power in the work area. I fashioned a three prong edison plug to 50amp plug adapter (which I'd plug in when I was at the boat working) to keep my batteries freshly charged and ready to go when we splashed. I splashed late in the day and was planning on just heading out for a mooring ball that evening, but the crew hooked me up with a tie up right at the haul out pit at a really reasonable price.

Westland Marina: I put my boat here last spring for the summer season and found it to be a very nice place with helpful staff and I like DIY yards and pricing is reasonable. if you are looking for sidewalks and marble bathroom floors this is not the place.
