Old school marina, still a nice spot to hold over for your crossing. Docks are short so you have to back in, staff was extremely helpful and Kim is very knowledgeable about the crossing windows. Pet friendly, low prices, good fuel prices, large ships store, bathroom and showers are old block construction but are adequate. You can't beat the sunset sitting in one of the rockers on the front porch, with a $1 can of beer from the store.

    Business Response:
Thank you Mike and Bobbi for the great review! Glad you enjoyed your stay! Enjoy your cruise and hope you come back to visit!! Kim and the gang

This marina scores many points for its low price, low fuel price, and staff friendliness/helpfulness. Simply said, if you're looking for a low budget marina in Carrabelle, this is the place.

I arrived at about 3 PM, which is the exact time at least 10 Looper boats departed to anchor off Dog Island for the Gulf Crossing. This caused a lot of traffic in the channel and delays while two of these boats fueled prior to departure. The fuel dock is very short so there was no waiting at the dock. Instead, I had to circle in the current for nearly 30 minutes to wait my turn.

Although C-Quarters can handle boats of all sizes, they'll match your boat to a slip just wide enough to accommodate it. Access to your boat is via a very short finger pier, so you'll need to back in. Again, the staff was very helpful, providing ample assistance for me to get my 10 foot beam boat into a 12 foot wide space in a surprisingly strong current. I was advised about how to tie off to accommodate the full moon tide swing, which they expected to be about 4 feet. I was also warned that there was a chance that the back end of my boat would be grounded at low tide, so I might want to move it out if I expected to leave early. Sure enough, when I woke at 5 AM the next morning, my depth indicator showed only a half foot under my stern with the tide still going out. I had to hustle to walk my dogs, disconnect power and the aft ties, and use the bow lines to move the boat forward about 4 feet so I'd be able to depart at 7:30 with friends at another marina. (Low tide was at around 8 AM.)

The marina has a store, restrooms, and a laundry room. I cannot comment on any of them since I did not use them during my very short stay. It's walking distance from the town, including a small supermarket that's nearly right across the street.

Very friendly people, staff and otherwise. Waited our Hurricane Nicole here. Almost everything you need within short walking distance. Great huge porch for Dock Tales and just meeting people. $1/ft for transient with $10/ft if staying a week. Good diesel pricing. Not a fancy resort style marina at all, looking it's age but certainly adequate.

    Business Response:
Thank you for the nice compliment. Weekly rate is $6.75 tho! Monthly is $10.00/ft Enjoying all the loopers this season!!

We recently spent 5 nights at C-Quarters as we waited for a weather window to cross the Gulf. Everyone we met at the marina, employee or not, was VERY friendly and helpful. Special mention to Kim, Monte, and especially Dennis, who gave us some great instruction on tying to fixed docks and pilings to allow for tides. Grocery and hardware stores were a very short walk, and the marina store, although more fishing oriented, had a couple of items I needed for our trawler. Wifi was good as well. They opened early and closed late, and almost always had people on the porch who would answer any question and treated us like friends. They were also busy replacing boards on sections of their pier, which shows they are trying to keep things maintained. Topped off on reasonably priced diesel. The ONLY criticism: Fix or improve your pumpout equipment. People who stage in Carrabelle for their crossing are almost certainly going to want to empty their holding tank. We tried for 45 minutes and were not successful. But that is the only suggestion for C-Quarters. Everything else was great. We would certainly return.

    Business Response:
We have installed a new high speed pump out last month! Works great!! Thank you for the suggestion!

Friendly and helpful staff. Slips are narrow for us but were adequate with the dockhands help. We are 15'6" and would NOT try if your vessel is wider. Current does rip thru, try to hit at slack tide if possible.
Ditto the other reviews, old school marina that shows it's age but is safe and clean. Good fuel prices and great overnight prices for transient boats. Also walking distance to grocery, small hardware store, amazing fried oysters at Fisherman's Wife. We were trapped here for a week waiting out weather and were very happy we found this marina. Great staging site for crossing the Armpit.

I loved my stay at C-Quarters Marina! There's very friendly helpful staff, very competitive priced diesel, a great large covered deck to sit under on many rocking chairs, my kind of place simple & clean close to dining and a grocery store. I'll be back!

April 13-15, 2021, this was a five-year anniversary stop for us! When we bought our boat in Panama City, FL - on the way back to Charleston, SC we anchored a few times, but this was the first marina we traveled to. We remembered it because of how friendly and helpful the folks were, and not just the employees. The locals here are always fun to chat with on the giant covered porch overlooking the water.
We enjoyed a couple of delicious meals at the Fisherman's Wife which is just a short walk away. The grocery store is even closer, as well as a hardware store for odds and ends.
You can see the age, but it is definitely safe, and I find it a charming escape and a step back in time.
We will always stop at C-Quarters for our crossings if they have room for us!

Wonderful people in this town. You can see the age in the docks but I never felt they were unsafe. Very convenient for reprovisioning.

There are some inconsistencies about the size of both this marina can handle. The printed waterway guide says 100 ft, the website says 53 ft, but when you call and talk to them they say Max 47 ft. So I think it really needs to be updated in the waterway guide to reflect 47 ft Max.

    Business Response:
Hope we fixed this correctly! We have had 100' boats in the marina, as well as 60 and 70 foot. Our docks are 45' long, that may be what staff was referring to? Hope to see you again! Thank you! Kim

Friendly, helpful professional staff. Many locals congregate in the mornings and evenings for coffee or a cold beverages, providing you with the ambiance of Carrabelle. A friendly fishing village, much like America was in the 70's. Locally owned business, well managed for the long haul in a small town we're reputation matters. It was a pleasure to spend time there. Take your RV or boat and check it out.

The hospitality at C-Quarters is among the best. Tidal currents can make docking tricky, but staff are glad to help make the landing as smooth as possible. Just call ahead and ask for help. Bathrooms/showers are spartan. Boat repair parts and equipment are scarce throughout Carrabelle, but can be obtained in a few days if ordered from the area marine distributor. Notwithstanding these shortcomings, it was a great place to stop.
