Captain Billy and Mary are wonderful, such warm friendly people, I would have like to stay longer. Follow the channel marks you will have no problem. The marina itself is super clean good bathrooms & showers, and everyone is so nice and helpful. If you are close to Ingram Bay be sure to stop at Ingram Bay Marina, one of the best marinas I have been in since I left Lake Huron in July. Thank you Captain Billy and Mary

Stopped here again on our way home. Wound up staying for four days waiting for the winds to lay down. The marina is in a very well protected harbor so we barely felt the constant 20 mph winds that regularly gusted to 30+. Entrance to the harbor is a bit tricky and there are some spots where it's a bit shallow, I definitely stirred the bottom up when I was pulling into the slip but didn't touch bottom. Can't say enough about Capt Billy and his hospitality. He didn't leave us until he had the boat tied in to his likings and that the twin 30A to 50A adapter was working fine. When he was all done he asked if we needed groceries or anything from town when he went in that night to have dinner with a friend. We had provisioned two days before and only needed more eggs. Next morning the eggs were delivered. Whenever I talked with him he would ask if we needed anything from town. We didn't need to use his showers and rest rooms so I can't comment on them but they have the sweetest tasting water. Fueling was a little slow because he triple filters the fuel. The hoses and nozzles are brand new, he changed them just after we were there in mid May, and his price was the second lowest that we had paid on the Chesapeake. The Ingram Bay Marina is not a high brow marina and won't appeal to every body but if you're into a well protected marina with all the services, pump out included, and FANTASTIC hospitality then this is the place for you, I know it is for us and we'll be back there anytime we are in the Chesapeake.

Great quiet transient dockage. Some of the cleanest restrooms and showers out there. Convenient outdoor patio furniture to to get off your boat at the end of a long day. I could only get one leg of the electrical to work at my pedestal. I was not aware of the breaker location so I mentioned it while paying but didn't pursue it any further since I didn't need or use it. Very helpful young man worked to make visitors welcome and satisfy their needs.

Contacted the marina and spoke with Mary, a very lovely person, and said we'd be coming in for fuel the next day. She said to give them a 1/2 hour heads up so someone would be at the fuel dock to meet us. As so oft happens on the Bay, the weather was nasty the next day so we didn't go. We left the following day and called, Mary said there'd be someone there. Entry was easy as the channel is well marked but you need to stay in the channel as it gets very shallow outside the channel. The marina is very well protected. Billy met us at the fuel dock and assisted my wife with tying up. Billy is extremely friendly and my wife and I had a wonderful time talking with him as we fueled. Fuel price was great and with the discount for 200+ gallons it was the cheapest we paid for fuel since leaving Wilmington, NC. We highly recommend this marina. Next time we're in the area and need fuel we'll be stopping here!!!

Easy approach with a well marked channel. Protected and secure. Met by owner, Captain Billy, on the fuel dock. Captain Billy is extremely friendly and a text book of local knowledge. This is our second visit at IBM and we plan to return. After a long day on the Bay this is where you want to be to unwind and enjoying the peacefulness. Thanks for the fuel quantity discount.

Billy's Marina is a very quiet location protected from all wind directions. Waited out the wind one day and rode around the small cove in the dinghy. A small place with great service and friendliness.
His experience on the Chesapeake was very useful. May have been the time of year but we earned our crab pot dodging and narrow passage sign off here. Great small boat stop. Thanks Billy.

Echo previous accolades. Easy access from the Western shores of the Bay. Well marked fairway. Simple marina away from towns, lights and noise. Loudest sound around is geese. Captain Billy was very helpful on arrival and the courtesy car allows easy access to any amenities you need that are not right here. We came here from Norfolk (on the Great Loop) to get out of the weather. This is a great hurricane hole! We provisioned and did laundry in town and slept like babies during the extreme overnight weather.

This is a nice, small, very quiet marina with easy access from the Chesapeake. I would have given them a 5-star rating except for their prices. The slip fee was reasonable but a pump out was $30 and laundry was $8/load (wash and dry). They apparently are not trying to attract cruisers. They did have a courtesy car which they offered for our use.

Entrance looks tight, but is not bad, once in very protected. Nice quiet place with nothing close, residential farm land surrounds the marina. We used the courtesy car to explore Reedville and surrounding area. Good hand made ice cream. We will return if we can.

Ingram Bay was extremely welcoming and accommodating. My husband discovered we had we had a leaking fuel line on the starboard engine , so we pulled into the marina the following morning on one engine. Billy greeted us at the pier to help us tie up and offered to pick up new fuel line for us that day. What a life saver! Thanks Billy.

We love this marina, it's our favorite!! Quiet and quaint, dog friendly, the owners and staff are so polite and helpful. Captain Billy always greets you with a great smile and is there to help you tie up. The owners live on site and so very accomodating for any needs and vast knowledge. They also have a courtesy car for trips to provision and the cutest little town nearby for shopping and browsing. We will stop here every time we travel South. Five Stars!! ~Tom & Tiffany

This place and the owners are awesome! We were traveling south on S/V Fancy Free helping it's new owner get her to Charleston, SC. Due to weather, we moored here at Ingram Bay Marina to be safe. Capt.Billy was right there to help us tie up and get settled in. Living up to his great reputation, he made sure that everything was taken care of. He and his wife both, were very accommodating providing us transportation into town for some necessities. The bath house was very nice and clean with laundry facilities. It's a well protected marina just off the bay that provides great services with a wonderful staff.
