Service was great. Access is tricky with a very shallow spot if coming in from Delaware Bay side. Water was down to 4'7" near ferry area. Marina itself is not up to par with very old floating docks with very short finger piers. Pool area is nice and the shuttle service is very helpful. Water in marina is dirtier than most with debris and dead crabs. I was there with group of 4 boats and all but one of us was in a slip that was in reality too small. Once in my slip with fenders on one side, the other side was within 3 inches of touching the opposite piling.

Follow the chart. Keep Green #1 30-40 yards to port, then aim for Green #3 just to port to go between Green #3 and Red #4 that are almost vertically aligned. I came in at mid tide and lowest depth by Red #4 was 5'11" and that was very briefly. Inside found 10-11' water with good holding and barely any boat traffic. We had 6 boats rafted together and had no issues at all. Love the spot.

  • Marina Review for River Dunes Marina at Grace Harbor

This is a bonafide review from my trip to River Dunes on October 29, 2020. Upon arrival, I ran aground in the entry channel in 7.5 feet of water (per my depthfinder) due to what I felt were rocks in the port side of the channel. The next day, I had a diver confirm that my prop was trashed and then had the same diver walk the channel in the area of impact. He did indeed find multiple rocks at depths of 4.5 feet at points as far away as 9 feet from rocks on port side of the channel. I have the video proof of the rocks for anyone interested. I took the case to Scott Bearhope, Marina Operations Manager an he denied the presence of rocks even with the video evidence. Thus far they have been non-responsive to my reasonable request for the marine to pay for the damage to my boat from the unmarked obstacles in the channel. I love the marina, but the failure of the owners to take responsibility for my damage and then to either mark the channel appropriately or remove the rocks is unbelievable for a facility on this level.
