    I think it's the best free dock in Elizabeth City. They do need to trim the trees however.

    Dockmaster was not knowlegable, had us fender up on the wrong side for docking conditions, docks are terribly exposed to huge wakes. Will not dock here again.

    The government center NO LONGER allows dockage for dinghys, or any vessels. No shore access. Holdind is much better just south across the icw in charted deeper water

    New docks floating, but have ground fault interrupter. If one boat has a problem, the whole dock goes out. We dock on the fixed docks inside. Walkable to bars and resturanants, good wifi and cell.

    There is free Wifi from the bar, decent happy hour, park to empty trash. Dingy to bar and park, can walk to some stores about a block west. Gets calm after dark.

    Unless you name them a co insured on your insurance, and fax it to them, you have to dock outside the marina, which is not a good spot if you are a boat over 25 ft. Plus, inside is $2 a foot, not the $1 as advertised.
    Inside slips are nice, good power, but way overpriced for the area.
