We came to the Kingston City Marina to weather a storm and enjoy the downtown. Our second time to Kingston. I believe I need to say something regarding what is advertised versus what is given as a service. First the website is misleading and we thought it was $2.00 a foot when it was actually 2.25 plus power. We were almost under the bridge beside the outflow pipe for the storm drains and who knows what else. It stunk! We are hooked up to the "Marina Guest WiFi" and it does absolutely nothing. The floaters we are on are secured at each end only to the seawall and are easily over 200 ft long. We had to secure our boats directly to the seawall to prevent the dock pulling away as higher winds were forecast. As a recognized stopover for cruisers and some loopers, this service is totally unacceptable. The city needs to step up their game and make some not so expensive improvements to encourage visitors.

They are open but only accepting payment via Dockwa. No fuel or dock hands. They did accommodate us for a 1 night stop.
