The dock hands were very helpful.The shower area needs an exhast fan and a shelf and hooks to hang your stuff. There is no where to put your things in the shower except on the sink or on the floor.

Zanhisers Solomons. Marina staff was outstanding and friendly, really made our visit enjoyable. Sandwiches at pool bar were great. Onsite restaurant, Dry Dock is outstanding. Would rate this excellent except if you're traveling with a number of boats, you'll be spread out an various T heads as dock space is limited.

Chesapeake Beach. Bandshell on the beach with Caribbean Chiller's Jimmy Buffet tribute was great. Really made our stay memorable. Lots of area construction going on so walking to North Beach is a bit of a hassle. Marina is more industrial and 'city' vs resort with grounds for grilling and walking. Restaurant on site is ok. Pool is indoor at onsite hotel. Dock power is 208v so our 240v boats could not run their AC units. Marina office manager, Heather was great - very professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

This marina is clearly investing in its facilities. Facilities are already nice, but the improvement in their beach area tiki bar and on-beach burger and hotdog grill are nice. Marina office staff is knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. Folks that run the golf cart shuttles are great. Docks are being upgraded over next few years - Nantucket section has new power and water and grilling area. Very nice. For boats over 35' most docks are covered so be sure to let them know your overall height requirements.

We had a great visit at Shipwright Marina. The Dockmaster (Scott) and Assistant gave us clear directions, met us at our slip, and were of great help in getting us tied up, connecting electricity and our water hose. Later, a staff member offered to take me to a store for laundry powder but Scott said he was sure he had enough for the 2 loads I was doing and gave me some of his own detergent. At checkout he gave us a nice little gift. The marina is doing a lot of landscaping and looks very nice. We enjoyed the pool. Wifi was fast enough to steam a Netflix show.

Brand new Marina. Two blocks on Yards waterfront walkway to Nats Stadium. Outstanding staff. Secure with dock gate code from Dockmaster . Wonderful floating docks. Easy approach in Anacostia R., DC. Plenty of depth. Only drawback is no toilets/showers til Fall 2017. Once they are up and operating, will be 5 stars. We will be back. Capt Rick McHarg, EAGLE ONE, Sea Ray 450 EB

Mears Great Oak Landing was the marina we visited. The staff is very nice and helpful. There were six boats in our group and they made sure we all docked next to each other. The whole marina is great! The beach area, the pool and the restaurant are great. This place is always a great time.
