An update to my previous review: The channel at the North entrance of the river is now deeper than charted with no apparent bar. We entered at Tide minus 1' and saw 12-14' all the way in with 8-9' over much of the center channel surrounding the WWG anchor symbol. Lots of room for many boats but no shore access for pets

Easy access from Doboy and ICW. Relatively shallow (we saw 10' at low tide) but good holding. Great, remote GA anchorage. No shore access but reasonable cell signal.

Very good anchoring location just north of Little Mud River. Plenty of room for multiple boats. Enter the river favoring the shore of Doboy Island as there is a large shallow area in the center of the river mouth.

Cell signal is weak at 2 bars for Verizon. Protection from north winds are good. Other directions are exposed.

Open wide anchorage with small bar to cross from AICW. Slight roll from inlet with SE wind but otherwise good wave protection & little thru traffic. Nice place to hole up waiting for tide or after a late push thru Little Mud River shoals. Current is king as far as how you will lie to the wind, but holding is good. This anchorage is wide and offers less depth (13'-21' MHW) with 7' tide compared to the 25-30' in neighboring anchorages that make adequate scope challenging for the narrower rivers.
