This spot is at a bend in the waterway and is very well protected if the wind is out of the south or the north. The scenery is pleasant and I have anchored here many times. Sometimes the tug boats pushing barges will come through here at all hours so be sure you are well out of the channel. Every time I have anchored here I have seen 4 or 5 others anchored as well.....but there is plenty of room. Holding is good .....mud bottom
