Anchored out front of the resort. Great holding, rode out a couple 40+ k squalls. Pricey resort, wanted $200 day pass.

We anchored out for the day as we arrived early waiting to get into the marina. We did not get a day pass since we will be staying in the marina the next few days. Beautiful spot with all the colorful house. Good holding but some wake from the boats going through the channel to the marina. Several little outer islands to go exploring.

Very nice Anchorage with great wind and swell protection when the winds are out of the north east and southeast. Really enjoyed our stay. The day pass at the resort is well worth the price.

I stayed to the north of Mama Rhoda Rock, hoping to avoid the current and swells closer to Chub Cay. Holding was excellent, and I had no discernable current. However, the island is pretty low-slung, and provided only a little protection from the wind, and there was a significant wrap-around of the swells. I should have anchored closer to shore, but I don't know how much difference that would have made. Still, I was alone out there, and there was no traffic or insects anywhere near me. An easy approach from the West but irreguar shallows to the East.

Great place with winds from Norh to East. Still good in SE but wraparound makes it a little rocky. Chub Cay Club is nice and seems to be loosening up in offseason to cruisers.
