Anchor anywhere in the bay. We anchored near the north shore near the kayaker access point. 12 feet in mud. Beware the flies, though, they were terrible and decended upon us even before we had the anchor down. Flies not so bad on shore where we hiked to the Boyd Cemetery. Wind light from NE overnight, Good protection and plenty of room for many boats if needed.

Turn into Panther Bay South of Green buoy at mm 60.2. Follow the course line marked on some charts towards the norther shore of the bay towards the green and red secondary channel buoys marking the deep water entrance to the bay. Parallel north shore bank 100 yards out in 20 feet of water winter pool. 18 foot depth at Dry Fork Creek cutoff and 15 feet winter pool at the anchorage icon. Room for a large number of boats. Good holding in mud. Two bars for Verizon T-Mobile and ATT.

Has to be one of the best anchorages on the entire Great Loop. Clean clear water, scenic, still & quite anchorage.
