Kentucky Lake level 355.3, anchored in 18 ft of water. Deeper than we like to anchor but good holding. Entered from downriver, exited upriver.

Anchored here last night. Great place to tuck away from river traffic. Very quiet night. Good holding. Eagles! We came in from downriver. Saw 10 feet lowest and turned into 20-40 feet very deep even close to shore. Plenty of room to swing. Exit upriver since we were headed to Fall Rendezvous at Paris Landing. If worried about depths just enter and exit upriver side!

Winter pool anchorage behind the island was easy and safe.

Leave the channel and run 100 yards off LDB southbound at mm 106 and move upcurrent in 20 feet of water winter pool. Continue up channel behind islands in 40 feet of water and move toward island side for proper anchoring depth in 1 mph of current. Island is heavily wooded with good protection except from north. Room for many boats properly spaced. Good cell reception for all three cell carriers. No shore access.

We had problems here, our anchor moved in the night due to strong wind overcoming the current and reversing the pull.
