We are 65% through our great loop since starting in Georgian Bay. This is without question, the worst marina we have stayed at. Arrived in strong current and high winds. Could not raise anyone on the radio for our slip assignment after 20 minutes trying. Finally went to the fuel dock where we saw one young dock hand. When I asked why they don't respond to radio calls, he said he left his radio in the office. I questioned what good it did him there? After tying up, he left and came back shortly after. I told him the boat following us was trying to raise him on the radio, and where was his radio? He apologized and said he left it behind. After getting off the boat, a quick look at the dock indicated it was under construction and was a total disaster - an accident waiting to happen - piles of screws strewn all over, planks missing and trip hazards all around. The office for checking in was no better. It looked like a construction site (maybe it was) with work tables and tools all around. I paid my $2.00 a foot and got no instructions or codes for the washrooms/showers (which I would not have wanted to see based on everything else I had seen). Being on the outside fuel dock, we were rocked by the wake of boats all afternoon. I am not sure why the "NO WAKE" signs are not posted in front of this dock, but are only posted further South down the channel. We had fueled up in Myrtle Beach Yacht Club at $3.39 a gallon. Diesel here is $5.79 a gallon (go figure). We would never consider coming back to this marina. Obviously, things have changed since others reviewed this place in 2022.

Stopping here for fuel and had the engine overheat so coasted in with the current. Dockhands were super helpful getting us tied up in a spot we could fuel up and take some time to deal with our engine issue. Reasonable diesel price for the times. A bit rocky from wakes but great people so would highly recommend for a stop

Great folks and place to tie up to. We always anchor, but I'm changing crew flying in/out or Wilmington. 50' overall on Amel Maramu and 6'3" draft. Good fuel price, free water, showers and coin laundry all here. Walked a few kilometres to Publics for groceries.

Face dock with lots of current and boat traffic. Remodeled restrooms, but only one stall had lights. Free laundry, but they don't tell you this, so you put your quarters in and lose them. Only one washer works. They don't tell you this either. Some staff friendly and helpful, others can't be bothered.

Nice staff however extremely exposed, wicked currents that do not stop. Have to move to pump out in these currents! Would not recommend for transients.

Nice marina, a bit exposed to wakes. Helpful dock hands.

Nice facilities, staff, boaters, and a beautiful ICW view. There is a direct path to the public Atlantic ocean side beach. Although it is a long way from the islands central businesses, a 2 mi dinghy ride takes you there, and from that same location three times a day there are good bus service connections into Wilmington, NC (6 miles away). We stayed during the month of March. Even though it was cooler than normal, we enjoyed our stay and could always find a ride, including good service from Uber - $15 to Monkey Junction or $24 to Fordham bus terminal. From Monkey Junction there are connecting buses to downtown Wilmington for $2 or seniors $1.

This marina is a real pleasure to stay and do business. The Staff, namely JW and Taylor, are top shelf when it comes to taking care of the customers needs. As a Pastor and a Investor I could not ask for a better Harbor Master and Staff. The Marina is clean and well kept. The concern and environment is second to none. Great Place.
