The approach can be a little tricky so examine their website prior to entering and you will find a written set of directions and a hand drawn chart showing exactly how to enter. The docks and all of the associated equipment are in good shape. The staff is friendly and will help you get in. Quiet marina. Nice air conditioned boaters lounge with clean baths and showers. Free laundry and more.

Made a stop at Beaufort Yacht Basin at the suggestion of a fellow Looper . . . He was "Spot On"! . . . BYB Has All the Amenities, New Floating Docks, 1st Class Captains Lounge, FREE LAUNDRY, Courtsey Golf Cart, Protected Basin and Great Dock Service from Ron & Jerry . . . Best to access at high tide but if your arrival won't allow that, Jerry/Ron will talk you through your navigation approach . . .BYB is Tops!
