Dock ok for smaller boats far away enough from shore to be exposed even in a strong west wind. Nice city park with spring that feeds a public pool (closed November thru May per a local). Spring Park Coffee shop was perfect.

Floating dock in good condition. Some of the power pedestals were disabled for maintenance, but the water worked fine. I was the only boat there so I could have plugged into another pedestal if I wanted power. (I don't usually plug in if I'm just staying one night.) The outer slips are larger than the inner ones and my 10 foot wide Ranger tug fit nicely; a boat wider than 14 feet would likely not fit into a slip, although the T-head should be usable. $20 per night, honor system payment with envelopes provided. Long walk down the pier to a very pleasant waterfront park. Pet friendly. Town beyond is a bit disappointing with few open shops and restaurants. One feature of the town and waterfront park is the spring-fed pool that's supposedly open most days; I did not see anyone in it when I was there so I assumed it was closed. This is a nice stop and I will probably return (and check out the pool) on my way back down the St. Johns River.

Very reasonable fee for a nice, quiet dock with power. There are numerous small-town stores--including hardware--within walking distance. There is, of course, a limit on length of stay (72 hours within a 30-day period), but if one were planning to stay here for longer than that, anchoring in the St. Johns River is an easy option.

If one is sightseeing/exploring the St. Johns, this is an almost-mandatory stop. And if your mast reaches more than 45', it's also pretty much your last stop up the river: Shands Bridge has a 45' vertical clearance.

Nice stop. Payment is on the honor system using provided envelopes. Well sheltered in all but north or easterly winds, in which case you might wish to move along to a more sheltered location. Excellent access to the town of Green Cove Springs: restaurants and some shopping. The park with the original spring is a fun little walk.

Stayed here on May 26 with wife and grandchildren. Weather forecast was for light winds however they missed the 15-20 gusting 25+ out of the east and white caps that made the initial approach a little uncomfortable. Calmed down later that night and all slept well. Never saw less than 8' of water but we did have a blood moon during our stay. Can't beat the price $20 (honor system) for the night includes water and (30/50 amp) electric. They have a great park for children. Swings, open area to run, all types of gymnastic equipment to climb, hang upside down, etc. Restaurants and Wal-Greens within walking distance. Oh did I mention they have a spring boil and waterfall - beautiful place hidden on the St. Johns.

City/marina building a new breakwater wall to protect the slips from North and NE winds,

Slips on east side of dock are 16’ wide and can handle a 40’ (light to mid winds), slips on west side are 12’ wide and built for family fishing boats,

End tie on the T will handle a 60’

The boats anchored out use the slips for their own dingy dock

Price is right and the park and city are very nice.

Not a free dock but the next best thing. $10 for a tie up, $10 for water and power (30 and 50 amp) on an honor system with pay envelopes available at the top of the dock. Pier is behind a concrete breakwater that really reduces wave action from the north through the east. Slips and one longer side tie available on a first come first serve basis with a 48 hour maximum. Slips are narrow and will accommodate boats under 40 feet. The "T" dock sits between two dolphins and will handle a boat of up to 70 feet with good depth. If you find space this is an excellent stop at a reasonable price. The park an local amenities (including St. Brendan's Isle Mail Forwarding Service) are within easy walking distance.

Not designed for the larger cruiser. The slips are 12 feet wide. The outside slip on the south side is 60 feet long. If you can fit in a slip, please do so as some of us need that space on the end. The Green Cove Spring park is a great local amenity and the best thing about the stop. A bar and coffee shop are within a short walk. The dock is in very good condition.
