This marina has changed hands and is now called the New Orleans RV Park and Marina. Their slips along the canal were damaged by Hurricane Ida, so all of their transient slips are now being held by long term renters. We learned this while trying to book a transient slip for 7/27/22. We were informed by the staff that there are plans to repair the damaged slips as well as plans to build even more slips to the north of the existing docks.

We had originally made reservations at Seabrook for Christmas Eve. They only had one slip available. When we arrived, they were closed. The wind had picked up to 20 knots out of the south, blowing straight down the channel. Docking was going to be real challenge with the combination of wind, waves, and current. Decided to land at the fuel dock instead. While prepping to land at the fuel dock we noticed a side tie spot available over at the RV Park which was well protected and out of the wind. Got secured and found the office. They gladly took our money ($1/ foot including 50 amp power). The restroom facilities are clean and also include showers. The facilities were well kept. Will stop here again when we are east bound from Houston.

Great place, we ended up staying a week due to the weather. We wanted to be at Seabrook Marina but their slips were too exposed the night we came in. Uber to grocery and into town. Restaurant on site. Laundry available.

First of all fabulous people!! I called telling them my A/C broke and asked if they had a cabin/room! Had slip reservation so they said yes but 2 night minimum but since you are having difficulties we can oblige. Park boat door free we will just charge you to rent a room. Don’t end here. Show up guy helps me dock. I tell him A/C clogged with calcium need CLR where is Walmart. No problem sir I have some in office. Little while later he shows up with CLR! Can I give you tip or pay you for it? No Sir!! Hope you get it fixed! Return trip we got stuck 2 days at this marina due to locks were broke then R&R Bridge broke. Has pool to hang out at as well as restaurant. Staff is super nice.

We've eaten at the great restaurant at this marina and RV park (Lighthouse Bar and Grill) many times in the past and looked forward to the day we could spend time at the marina. We had our chance this week as the marina staff works hard to get operations back to normal in this time of COVID. Christy made our reservation process easy a few day prior to our arrival. The price for a slip was very reasonable. Sean was managing the marina the day we arrived. He had a staff member greet us at the dock to assist with lines when we arrived. Unfortunately, the better slip that was reserved for us when we arrived was taken by small boats whose owners could not be immediately located, so we were given a slip at the entrance to the inner harbor which worked, but kept us nervous that night because larger boats had to squeeze by us to get in and out of the small area. Also, we had to clean out the dock power box before we could connect our shore power cord because mud daubers had caked the outlet with much hardened mud. The marina was otherwise clean and orderly, including the shower facilities. Sean had provided us with an impressive information packet that contained information for local attractions, transportation, facility services, restaurant hours and menu, etc. We had a delicious meal, as anticipated, at the Lighthouse Grill and were able to eat poolside to enjoy the landscaping, fresh air and nice weather. Unfortunately our meal was cut short when some families showed up at the pool who we suspected were not authorized to use the facility. They were smoking, staring at their phones, and not minding their children who were running about and splashing the other guests. Overall we had good experience. This marina has the potential for a five star rating from me as they recover from the economic challenges of COVID and increase their management presence at this large and impressive property.

Super friendly, graciously made room for us on exterior dock for Christmas 2018 holiday. Wheelchair accessible. 0.9 miles from Public Transit but no sidewalk on the road. Thank you for supporting inclusiveadventures.org! Inner Harbor only 3.5' draft on low tide, exterior dock up to about 12' draft.
