We spent December/January and really enjoyed ourselves. We did have friends staying in 'old town' and it was an easy ebike there and to get provisions and to other restaurants. Lots of amenities. David H. has some points, it isn't in the nicest neighborhood, nor is there a view, also everywhere in KW in on a flight path to somewhere, you get used to it, conversation stops for the 15 seconds it takes planes to fly over. That being said is it not cheap compared to Marathon but less than Galleon or A&B, and KW is so much nicer a place than anywhere else in the Keys but you pay for it. Would definitely come back.

We love this marina and plan to come back. The price is ok for the area and you get to us all the hotel amenities. There are 2 pools and 3 restaurants. One of the restaurants has live music twice a day. All 3 restaurants have different happy hour times. The restrooms and showers are nice. Always clean and air conditioned. They have laundry facilities, coffee shop, small convenience store, ice cream shop, ship store, and a captain's lounge. One of the best features is you can use the marinas free shuttle. It goes to downtown key west, Higgs beach, and Publix. This marina is close to the airport so you do have some air traffic noise but also convenient if needing to fly out. There are 2 West Marine stores and a Home Depot if needing supplies for the boat. The hotel does offer bike/ scooter rentals. There are a lot of people on bikes in Key West so felt pretty safe riding here. There are also several bike paths around town. This marina does offer free pump out service and fuel. The Wi-Fi service is also free and we had great connection on our boat. We stayed on the far side of J dock. The dock hands were friendly and very helpful. If there were any issues they were quick to respond and were very helpful in docking.

I live-aboard here on Coconut Row. Outstanding community of live aboards who all enjoy the amenities of the entire marina (including free hourly downtown shuttle service--you can get dropped off/picked up at grocery store, doctor, etc). Gym, 2 pools, 3 bars (each with own happy hour that don't conflict with each other), full mail and package services, laundry and clean showers. We've been here 2 years and have compared alot of Keys marinas...none come even close.

Here, you get a large resort with amenities…. And you pay for it. Two nice pools. A very nice hotel and a couple of restaurant bar/grills, including outdoor seating. All the staff are very nice.
There is no functional WiFi here at least during our stay, we had no connectivity whatsoever unless we walked out to the captain’s lounge. Even boaters much closer to the central hotel area reported poor or spotty WiFi.
Also the marina has a systemic problem with the pumpout system, which seemed to impact every dock. They ended up having to forklift a pump on a skid to different areas every time someone needed a pumpout. This was hard on the dockhands so I hope they get it fixed.
The surrounding neighborhood is similar to a 2nd or 3rd world country. The level of poverty is sad and surprising. There are bicycles available but it costs $18 per day and be aware it is a good six-mile ride one way to get to the central Key West sights.
Due to the marina’s position, there is no view of either the bay side or the ocean. To the east is just a view of a state power station facility. This marina also is directly under the flight path of the Key West airport. This, along with the nearby Naval Air Station, means you will get significant air traffic noise on a frequent basis.

This will make it out third stay at Stock Island Marina Village. There are several reasons that we chose this marina. It's close to shopping so it's easy to rent a car and get provisions for the boat at Publix, Winn Dixie, Ross, etc. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Mallory Square so there's a lot less boat traffic. It's a floating dock that's had many renovations. We continue to return because there are two beautiful pools, there's a free shuttle to Old Town Key West and the beach. There are great restaurants and I love that drinks can be delivered to the pool. Most of all, we love that it's quiet. I really enjoy peacefully waking around the marina and taking in the sights or shopping at the cute stores in the Village. There are also many amenities like renting scooters, bikes, etc. The marina is beautiful and sturdy. The staff is very, very friendly and extremely accomodating. We even receive a glass of Champaign upon check-in.

We stopped here overnight on our way to Tortuga. This is now my Key West marina. It has several dining options, pools with a bar, hammocks, green spaces, and is just pretty. The office loves its transients and you can have packages meet you at the marina. Also, a free shuttle that takes you to A&B Marina (their system marina) which is in the middle of traditional Key West that is packed with people, boats, etc. This marina gives you a quiet get away from the cruise ship/tourism crowds.

These guys earn every one of their 5 stars. Everyone associated with the marina, hotel and restaurants have been top-notch. There are two locations for showers and laundry and both are clean and maintained. There is a pool for hotel guests and a pool for marina guests. Three restaurants with great food and drinks on premises. The Perry Hotel allows marina guests access to their gym and hourly shuttle to downtown, Publix, and the beach. We can6say enough good things about this marina.
