Nice quiet stop. Jim the dock master is super helpful. No restaurants so make sure the pantry's stocked. Clean bathrooms. Finger piers are easy in/out. There was a general store with a small LCBO but it was closed when we were there. Wifi in the boaters lounge but it doesn't reach to the docks. We'd stop here again.

Stayed one night. Floating docks all in good condition. Protected little harbour. Staff were helpful, attentive and very friendly. Women's room, shower and laundry all very clean and comfortable. Nice lounge on the ground floor and another on the second floor with great views of the bay. Wi-Fi is great in and around the lounge. No Wi-Fi at the dock. There is small general store/LCBO within walking distance for basic needs and Ice Cream cones!

Meldrum Marina, 14 August 2022. Quiet and small marina with four capable finger docks plus other dockage. One building contains the office, lounge, restroom, and showers. Internet is available and most accessible in the lounge which includes TV, tables and chairs, games, and books. Unfortunately, the Inn is permanently closed so the general store the only venue.

This is one of our favorite stops along the southern shore of the North Channel. This year the marina has a new dockmaster with a great attitude. No, the marina is not the best, but it is adequate. While there are only two businesses in town, they are both worth a visit. The liitle Old Country Store is cute, has some interesting merchandise, and now has an LCBO. The Meldrum Bay Inn has the best food anywhere in the North Channel and the owners and staff treat you like long lost friends. For boaters entering Canada and the North Channel from Michigan, there is a Canadian Customs Office at the marina. It only has a phone, but that is all you need to check in.

Easy docking on four long piers. Great help in docking. There's nothing special to the docks, but they are relatively new and nice. Electric is good. Bathrooms are adequate.

The town is only one block long. The reason to come is for dinner at the Meldrum Bay Inn, just 100 yards from the marina. The fresh whitefish and trout are the best we've had on our entire trip. This alone is worth the stop.

Everything has closed up here with only a reservation only restaurant available. Not worth the stop unless you have to because of time or weather or you really just want to hang out on your own. The town charges to bring your dingy to shore. I recall $10.00 but town only offers a quick walk about. No provisions remotely close by.

    Business Response:
There is no charge to visit by dingy. The General Store has re-opened under new ownership. They have ice cream. Nothing much to do except relax, enjoy the scenery, meet new friends, listen to the loons. and settle in to the quiet of the North Channel.
