I was in need of specific oil as I needed to change my oil. Based on a VHF call, the marina tracked down three gallons of oil for me, let me use a slip long enough to change the oil and disposed of the used oil for me. Then refused to charge for the slip or disposal. This team went above and beyond to help out a transient boater. Many thanks.

Be careful if traveling the ICW and stopping at Holden Beach Marina. We were there April 3 and got charged for 78 gals of gas for a boat that only holds 74 max. We had come from Georgetown. The next day on the return trip to Georgetown we only took 62 gals. Their gas pumps are up on a hill overlooking the fuel dock and hard to verify that they reset properly. I have contacted the Marina via messenger and email with no response.

Frendly people, great place. Fuel and dockage located on the waterway. Will visit again.
