Stopped and used this Marina to visit onsite Customs & Immigration to clear-in. It was fast and efficient, however the Marina has begun charging a $50 landing fee, which is an excessive money grab. $20 I'd be okay with, but $50 for an hour stop is steep.
The Dockmaster on duty was pleasant and helpful, and the Marina seemed to be well kept up, but we didn't and now wouldn't stay there.

We love this marina. The grounds are nice as are the facilities. The staff is some of the best we encountered in the bahamas. Sure it is not the least expensive, but for use worth the difference in price.

This marina is a much nicer place to clear and wait for a weather window than West End. Like most marinas, it needs some maintenance. But at least it has nice hot water showers and bathrooms. It offers close proximity to shopping with transportation via shuttle or water taxi. The staff is courteous and the restaurant/bar is very nice and right next to the pool.

Contrary to listing, this marina does not offer pump out services.

We stayed at this marina for nearly two weeks in April 2022. The staff were great. Reasonably close to shopping and restaurants. Had a great time exploring the island. At that time it was a super deal in terms of dock rates, but I noticed that sometime since then the prices have more than doubled.

Great marina with strong concrete docks. Grounds are beautiful, owner lives on site and visits the docks offer. Customs on site and very helpful. Dock hands friendly and helpful. Water shuttle to market area and don't miss a great restaurant by water called Flying Fish.

The concrete docks are in good condition, and the staff is very helpful. Customs is at the fuel dock, and will help you complete your customs report if you are having problems. The owner of the marina lives onsite, and walks the dock daily, insuring that all is going well. The two dock masters are also quite visible, always ready to lend a hand if you need assistance. The are 3 grocery stores within 1 1/2 miles, a small one just outside the marina gates. Lots of depth in the harbour, but stay wide turning to starboard exiting the entrance pass, as hurricanes have filled in the corner. There is a pool, and the bar and restaurant will be reopening in April.

I spent a week here in May 2021 waiting for a weather window to cross to Florida. I enjoyed my stay here and met boatloads of other cruisers also waiting out the weather. The highlight of my stay was happy hour and dinner at Rosies Pool Bar and Grill! She is a one person operator and mixes great rum punch and her food is basic but cooked by a gourmet. I ate there four nights in a row and enjoyed her food, drinks and company thoroughly. The marina facilities were very good and I especially enjoyed the free shuttle to the best supermarket I've seen in the Bahamas. Fabian was a big help docking in a strong cross wind. Customs and immigration made a special trip to the Marina so I could clear out on a Sunday. I enjoyed chatting with the Marina owner as well. It was really the only fully functioning marina in Lucaya at the time.

Nice marina. Clean, new-ish, and very empty when we visited in May 2021. Good power and water. Short staffed but understandable given the lack of clientele because of covid. Dog friendly and very convenient for check-in given the customs and immigration offices on site. The wifi was useless as has been the case at other marinas on GB. Great drinks at Rosie's. The oncoming waves in a 15 kt wind from the south were a challenge when exiting the harbor. Competition for Haulover! I guess I need a bigger boat!

What makes this place; one person Fabian. The marina may not be the best, needs some attention. But Fabian does the best he can with what he has to work with.

Arrived afternoon of 12/8/2016. Called dockmaster on VHF16 and he responded right away. Was directed to my berth without issue. Water depth was at least 10' all the way in. The dockmaster was very helpful in setting my boat, and was very friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions, particularly as I needed to clear in. You can NOT clear in here regardless of what the books say. However, they will take you on their shuttle (boat) to the custom/immigration office and then pick you up (about a 5 minute ride). The marina itself has obvious Matthew damage and all berths are not availabe. Clearing of damage is very slow. The restroom (men's) has 3 showers, 1 urinal, and 2 commodes, and is need of repair as it is quite dated. However, it is clean and easy/quick walking distance from my slip. The marina is also fairly well protected if you need to find shelter, and the entrance is very straight forward. There is diesel and gas here, as well as a swimming pool if anyone is so inclined. No restuarant on site. In fact, there is really nothing here. You have to take the shuttle or your dinghy to get to the Lucaya marketplace. You can also walk, but that will take about 40 minutes.
