NOTE: G47A and G47 have been relocated as shown on the Aqua Map representation of the 9/30/2019 USACE survey chart.
Honor the ATONs and pass by R44, R46, G47, and G47A by 100 ft off. For R48, pass 50 ft off. G47A and G47 have been overlaid on the chart manually since the NOAA chart has not yet been updated. The blue dotted line is the track Bob423 took on 10/17/2019 for 8.0 MLLW. The solid red line with numbered circles is the USACE recommended route converted to a GPX file. It is recommended to download and follow the USACE route atBLock110619to avoid developing shoals.
Legend
- USACE stands for US Army Corps of Engineers. They produce depth surveys and recommended routes.
- ATON stands for Aids to Navigation such as buoys, markers, and may be red or green.
- A solid black line is the Coast Guard recommended route but may not be updated for recent shoaling. Follow the guidance instead.
- Aqua Map is an app for Apple and Android products used here to display USACE and NOAA charts
- GPX is a route sharing file format used by all navigation apps and programs.
