Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 33'
Draft: 5.0'Sand has shifted, what looked good on the charts didn’t agree with my sounder and required a quick tack. I’d go about one mile out from Red Lateral Buoy 6 before heading in.

Draft: 5.0'We came into this inlet on 7/2/18 just two hours before low tide. Charts said that put us about 2’ above MLW. All markers shown on my Navionics were present and where the charts placed them. I came in lined up with the outer red marker and ran almost on top of R6 putting it just to my starboard. Never saw depths less than 11’ on our entry. Had a 52’ monohull follow in right behind us with no problems.

Vessel Type: Sail
LOA: 45'
Draft: 5.0'Entered Chanel on 4/21/18. Absolutely dangerous entrance. Came in at slack tide (low) over 'middle ground' area with supposedly 10-13' water with red #6 to starboard. Hit bottom at 5' multiple times while in surf and large rollers. 'Shoaling reported' on maptech charts. Unless you draw under 4' or at extreme high tide - and have adequate engine power to get through, I wouldn't attempt this. Marina locals concur.

LOA: 46'
Draft: 4.5'Entered channel 2/22. R4 and R6 buoys were missing. Very testy finding the channel with 4 ft. rollers on my stern and no red buoys to line me up.
