Waterway Guide invites you to experience the first Beer Excursion on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway with a Craft Beer Excursion on Tuesday, May 29th at 5 p.m.

As a proud Sponsor of this event we invite boater to join us for Boats & Brews. Guests will enjoy craft brews from Chesapeake's beloved brewery, Big Ugly Brewing, and gourmet hors d'oeuvres created by Chef Kim Prosser and the crew from KAPERS Catering. The event is sponsored by GoChesapeake, Atlantic Yacht Basin, Waterway Guide and Big Ugly Brewing. Admission is FREE to boaters, and complimentary transportation is provided from Atlantic Yacht Basin (AIWC marker 12, Great Bridge, VA). Wine will also be available. 

BOATERS
Our waterway guests will receive free admission, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, one free drink ticket and free transportation to and from Atlantic Yacht Basin. Additional drinks may be purchased for a donation of $5 / each. To participate, please email us at [email protected] and attach a pic of your boat (we will include it in our slideshow and Facebook photo album). We will reply to confirm your reservation. THEN, PLEASE be at the AYB Dockmaster's Office on Tuesday, May 29th no later than 4:45 PM to catch the shuttle. If you miss the shuttle, you can request an Uber. The brewery is roughly 15 minutes from AYB. Guests mooring at  other marinas or at the public docks are warmly welcomed. CHESA-PEEPS
Come out and meet our waterway guests! Tickets are only $25. Proceeds benefit Virginia Water Tourism, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Your participation helps to fund the GoChesapeake initiative which works to promote Chesapeake as a waterway destination to the 10,000 yachts that travel through our city each year. Waterway tourism helps to generate additional funding for our schools, roads and public safety resources. Space is limited and available on a first-come basis.
