Port Stanley is an excellent harbor on Lake Erie’s north shore, Just steps away from the harbor, the scenic fishing town of Port Stanley offers fine and casual dining and several galleries featuring local artists. The town is decorated with large wall murals depicting Port Stanley’s history including one depicting the heroism of locals in rescuing a wrecked schooner many years past.
There is a grocery store a 5-minute walk away from downtown and just a few steps from the bridge is a pharmacy, hardware store and coffee shop. There are quite a few restaurants within a short walk offering a variety of cuisine for everyone. Port Stanley also offers sandy beaches, hiking trails, museums and an active summer theater.
