INTERNATIONAL NON-VACCINATED VISITORS ONLY: Travellers MUST create a BTHV trip application by clicking “Add trip,” then selecting “International Travel.”

International Non-Vaccinated Visitors Twelve (12) Years Of Age And Older, when completing a trip application, MUST upload and present a NEGATIVE, or NOT DETECTED, COVID-19 RT-PCR (PCR, NAA, NAAT, TMA, RNA*) test administered by an accredited lab; and taken no more than three (3) days from collection date to date of arrival.

International Visitors Between The Ages Of Two (2) And Eleven (11) Years Of Age, MUST upload and present a NEGATIVE, or NOT DETECTED, COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT, AG, RADT, RDT) or RT-PCR test administered by an accredited lab; and taken no more than three (3) days from collection date to date of arrival.

International Visitors Under The Age Of Two (2) MUST apply for a BTHV but are exempt from having to undergo COVID-19 testing. International Non-Vaccinated Visitors MUST have in their possession, a copy of their BTHV and the appropriate NEGATIVE or NOT DETECTED COVID-19 test result and present said BTHV and result when asked by an Airline Operator, Sea Transportation Company, or member of The Bahamas Government Agencies.

*For the avoidance of doubt, the day of the COVID-19 test, also known as the collection date, is considered Day 0. Test results must be uploaded when completing a BTHV application. Any traveller submitting a test result older than three (3) days, with the sample collection date being Day 0, will be denied a BTHV. Persons arriving on a commercial, or personal, vessel whose arrival extends beyond the three-day period, shall be permitted to enter The Bahamas, provided they have obtained a BTHV and that the captain can prove at their point of entry that the vessel’s travel was a direct one with no prior stops at any other port of call.
