Rock Sound is a diverse settlement, rapidly becoming the next “Staniel Cay” or “George Town” of Eleuthera. With fast ferry service now available from Nassau, this community has been spruced up and is a pleasure to visit and stay awhile. 

The dinghy dock at Frigate's Bar & Grill is the preferred cruiser landing here. From there, it's an easy walk to the supermarket and hardware store. There's a brand-new government dock, and provisions and restaurants are all conveniently grouped around the somewhat protected harbor.
