  • Location: ICW - Ft. Lauderdale
  • Mile Marker: Mile 1064.5
  • Lat / Lon: N 26° 06.315' / W 080° 06.720'
  • Depth: 6.5-9 Feet
  • Description:

Leave the intracoastal headed east at marker G"13". Hug the east shore for 6 ½' depth into lake. Once in the lake, alter course WSW to avoid a shallow area and anchor in 8-9' where space permits.

For shopping anf shore access, dinghy to the SW corner of the lake and head west on the canal under the 7' bridge. Continue across the intracoastal and enter the canal just south of SE 15th Street. Tie up at the Cox's Landing public boat ramp (cannot leave dinghy unattended). Another option is the Southport Raw Bar at the end of the canal. Tie up for $10 (free if you eat). Mall, grocery and hardware all nearby.
