Fawcett Boat Supplies has announced that they are moving from their present location on the Annapolis Waterfront (see the press release posted under Cruising News Chesapeake Bay).
One of the reasons given for the move is they will have more space to devote to their growing outboard engine and inflatable repair business.
An interestingfact about their new location is that it is very close to a West Marine.
We'd like to hear what you think about this move and it's potential long term.

Comment submitted by Gary Reich on 17 December, 2009 - 12:38 I think it is a shame to lose such an iconic piece of the Annapolis waterfront.
I worked there through very tough times when West Marine, BoatUS and Boater's World were our primary competition back in the 90s and we prevailed.
I'm sad to see them leave the waterfront, but it's not surprising considering their recent financial troubles.
